Mariella started her career at Philips Consumer Electronics, where she led several businesses. She developed the accessory business around the Philips Shave business and has set-up a 100 mio Euro business in Digital PhotoFrames from scratch.
As Global CMO at Randstad, Mariella has been co-responsible for the development of the set up and execution of the digital transformation program of the service portfolio of Randstad, the world leader in HR services. In her role as global CMO she was direct responsible as well for the global digitization of the marketing function; the set-up of a global MarTech stack, one web-platform and end-to-end data integration to achieve full insight in the recruitment and sales processes.
She has advised and mentored several PE-owned Marketing Technology SAAS companies; At Bynder she acted as mentor & coach to the CEO, mentor to the merger integration team, and advising the board on post merger governance. At Sportler Group she acted as CEO ai.
Mariella studied Industrial Design Engineering at the TU Delft, Digital Leadership at the Vlerick Business school in Gent and followed the International Directors Program of Insead.
Mariella is married and lives with her husband and 2 sons in the Amsterdam region.
